| John is a very good communicator. The fine tuning of the universe is a wonderful thing. An amazing thing. Discovering observations like this are why scientists became scientists in the first place. I think Christians can turn to observations like these as a testimony, though we certainly can't use them as evidence to somehow 'prove' the existence of God.
I am just concerned with the move amongst Christians to align ourselves against the multiverse hypothesis. And so I think the concluding statement of John Lennox is the most important of all. We understand by revelation that God is the creator of all things and is himself independent of them. This means that if the multiverse hypothesis proves to be true, it doesn't in anyway disqualify God is their ultimate origin. |
